Trauma-informed librarianship is a crucial framework and helpful practice to better support our patrons, staff, colleagues, and ourselves. Finally, we'll learn about building sustainable self-care strategies, as well as the power of community care, to mitigate the effects of trauma, including secondhand trauma.
This program will include discussion of topics including rape culture, LGBTQ+ issues, ableism, and addiction.
