Greetings!

Thanks to your support, the Maryland Library Association, the leading advocate of the Maryland library community, is strengthening libraries and the people they employ by building:
  • Future leader development: Collaboration and mentorship; Participation in MLA divisions, interest groups, panels, and committees; the Nettie B. Taylor Maryland Library Leadership Institute; Strategic Leadership; Everyone Leads; and the Director's University
  • Influence and expertise: Professional continuing education programs, trainings, and workshops offered by experienced and trusted library experts; Annual MLA/DLA joint conference
  • Informed communities: Advocacy tools; Career Resources; Networking opportunities

Your support gives MLA the resources to advocate for public, academic, school, and special libraries statewide. We support not only library organizations, but also library staff, trustees, school students, retired librarians, and library friends and volunteers.

Your gift will go directly to support the development of the next generation of librarians and library leaders for Maryland. MLA provides opportunities for members to receive continuing education contact hours through programs, conference attendance, and through the Nettie B. Taylor Maryland Library Leadership Institute. Scholarships are available through the Educational Grants Program which include awards for undergraduate and graduate school, continuing education courses, workshops, conferences, pre-conferences, and the Nettie B. Taylor Scholarship Fund. Through your contributions, we are growing courageous, resilient leaders in every library, in every community.

Please consider making a contribution to support MLA's Educational Grants Program and/or the Nettie B. Taylor Scholarship Fund. Your support will make a real, lasting impact on the quality of Maryland libraries and the staff serving our communities.

Please go to https://www.mdlib.org/donate and select the Educational Grants or the Nettie B. Taylor MLLI Donation link from the menu on the left to make a donation today.

Checks may be made out to "MLA" with a note that the contribution is in support of the “Educational Grants Fund” or the "Nettie B. Taylor Fund." Mail to: Maryland Library Association, 1401 Hollins St., Baltimore, MD 21223

Thank you,
