MLA Legislative Panel Blog

The Legislative Panel is happy to announce the MLA Legislative Panel blog at http://mdliblegislative.wordpress.com/. As grassroots advocacy becomes even more vital, we hope that this will be a place for the Maryland library community and library advocates to go to find information on federal and state legislation and issues with impact on Maryland’s libraries.

This step is also in response to feedback received on a Summer 2009 survey about Capwiz. There was an interest among the Maryland library community to have improved communication to legislation and issues both before and after being asked to advocate for libraries. We hope that this blog will help us to meet this goal.
