MLA-Sponsored WWI Exhibit Makes Final Stop in TalbotOn Thursday, November 9, in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library, Robert T. Horvath gave a talk on his WWI Aviation Art. Five of Horvath’s original artworks were on display, along with several WWI aviation posters, as an exhibit sponsored by the Maryland Library Association in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of “The War to End All Wars.”

Maryland Library Day - 2018
The Maryland Library Day for 2018 has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 20. This is an opportunity for library leadership to visit their state legislators and share about the needs and services of Maryland libraries. National Library Day(s) have been scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, May 7 and 8.
This is an ALA legislative initiative to advocate on a national level for libraries. If you are interested in participating in either of these events, contact your library leadership for more information.

2018 MLA/DLA Conference theme is "EVOLVE"
The Maryland Library Association and Delaware Library Association will hold its annual combined conference May 2-4 at the Hyatt-Chesapeake in Cambridge, Maryland. This year’s theme is “Evolve” and there are some great pre-conference and conference programs planned. The conference program will be distributed soon, so watch you email for more information!
